Your timepiece is a high-precision instrument and the greatest care has been taken in its design and production. Composed of numerous components, oils, and lubricants, it deserves the greatest attention to ensure that it continues to work perfectly for many years to come. 

You can help preserve the lustre of your Lantis watch by cleaning it occasionally with a microfiber cloth. You can also wash the case and bracelet (except leather straps) from time to time using soapy water and a soft brush. After wearing your watch in the ocean, it is important to rinse it with fresh water to remove any salt and any sand deposits. Just remember that before cleaning your watch, be sure that the winding crown is screwed down properly against the case to guarantee waterproofness.

Professional polishing of your watch case and bracelet should only be done by Lantis.  We do not recommend sending your watch to any third party for watch polishing.  Please contact adlead@lantiswatches.com.

We recommend that you do not wear your watch in hot water, for example in a hot shower, steam room or jacuzzi as heat causes expansion of materials and this can cause moisture to filter through the seals and cause condensation to build up inside the watch.

You can play sports with a Lantis on your wrist as the Lantis case provides the watch movement with optimal protection against shocks. All Lantis watches are robust, shock resistant and waterproof to depths of at least 100 metres so swimming lengths or sweating on the track is... well... no sweat at all.

When your watch is serviced by Lantis, the watch is completely dismantled and all of its components are ultrasonically cleaned. Each individual component of the watch is closely examined and those that no longer meet Lantis' functional and aesthetic specifications are replaced with genuine Lantis spare parts. The movement is carefully lubricated then electronically tested to guarantee its timing accuracy; the case and the metal bracelet are meticulously refinished to restore their lustre. Your Lantis then undergoes a series of rigorous technical tests and checks to guarantee its waterproofness, power reserve and precision. After a complete Lantis service, your watch is covered by our service guarantee.

Yes, absolutely, from receipt of your items you have 45 days to exchange your Lantis watch. Please note the watch must be returned to us unworn and in original packaging, in exchange for a different model. Please visit our Returns page for more information.
